From June through late August, lucky Rohnert Park visitors and residents can shop the farmers market twice a week, with about 40 vendors offering fresh-off-the-farm produce and products.
Here you’ll meet the people who grow the tomatoes, olives, peaches, mushrooms, berries, and a huge assortment of other delectable fruits and vegetables. Aside from produce, you’ll also find vendors of locally made food products and other goods.
On Sundays, grab your breakfast at the market, with coffee from Retrograde Coffee Roasters, fresh-from-the-oven pastry from Red Bird Bakery, or a full-on breakfast from The Foodie Truck. Once a month, there’s a free cooking class.
The Friday night market is an end-of-the-week party that always features live entertainment. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and get set to dance the evening away.
The Sunday Farmers Market runs year-round, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Rohnert Park Plaza, 500 City Center Drive.
The Friday Farmers Market (June through August) runs 5-8 p.m., at Rohnert Park Plaza, 500 City Center Drive.
