Valley of the Moon wines are crafted at Madrone Vineyards Estate -- a historic winery in the heart of Sonoma Valley. Pioneering farmers planted vines here in 1863, recognizing site, climate and soil. Historic old Zinfandel vines and a stone barrel cellar built in 1887 stand to honor the past.

Our contemporary tasting room honors the Estate's rich history in a fusion of rustic warmth and modern style. Ease into rich leather armchairs, sip, savor and relax. Enjoy seasonal culinary offerings prepared by our estate chef, sit at an ancient oak table, taste at our expansive bar, or on the relaxing patio adjacent to our bocce court!

Wine & Food Description: Reserve Tasting and Tour: $50
Passion for the most handcrafted and sought after wines we produce is what our Reserve Tasting expresses. Discover Valley of the Moon our rich history on an Estate tour through century old Zinfandel vines and the original barrel cellar built in 1886. Enjoy a seated, private tasting of Estate & Reserve wines served in varietal specific stemware. Includes pairing with local cheeses, charcuterie and accompaniments. Accommodates up to two groups of 10, please allow 1.5 hours.

Wine and Chocolate Pairing: $30
Celebrate your decadent side with a flight featuring five wines as you experience how adding specially-selected chocolates to a tasting can make for a unique wine-pairing experience. Accommodates up to 20 guests, please allow 45 minutes.

Wine & Culinary Offerings
We believe that wine, food, and friends all belong at the table together. Our culinary offerings unite all three. Choose from an Artisanal Cheese Plate, a Rustic Charcuterie Board, a Decadent Chocolate Pairing or a Gourmet Box Lunch and enjoy on our spacious patio or in our peaceful picnic grove.
Reservations required for groups of six or more guests.

Artisanal Cheese Plate: $20
Sample artisan cheese selections, served with toasted Marcona almonds with rosemary sea salt, seasonal fruit compote, dried apricot, wild flower honey, rustic bakery crackers and herbs.

Rustic Charcuterie Board: $20
Taste prosciutto, coppa, Wild Boar salami, roasted colossal garlic, warm bone marrow with zested parsley, served with mixed olives, pickled vegetables, whole grain mustard and rustic crostini.

Decadent Chocolate Pairing: $15
Indulge in a seasonal selection of delicious dark and milk chocolates inspired by local vineyards and fruits.

Seasonal Three-Course Wine & Food Pairing: $45
Thursday through Monday at 12:30

Estate Prepared Gourmet Plated Lunches: $35

Italian Muffuletta:
Prosciutto, coppa, salami cotto, fontina cheese, olive spread and chopped, house-brined vegetables on a ciabatta role.
Bone-in Carved Ham & Brie Sandwich:
With Dijon vinaigrette and seasonal fruit compote on a baguette.
Oven Roasted Turkey Breast Sandwich:
With shaved turkey, cheddar goat chese, Meyer Lemon yogurt, aioli with toasted Calabrian chile flakes on a potato bun.
Grilled Prawn Caesar Salad
Marinated and grilled prawn, baby butter lettuce, fennel-toasted croutons, diced tomatoes and cucumbers with a King Louie dressing.
