Deadlines and Opportunities
March 22: Horizon Air Magazine Co-op Opportunity
Horizon Air Magazine will be featuring Sonoma County in the May issue. You have an opportunity to advertise on the issue's Wine Country co-op page. This is being expanded to a two-page spread.
Horizon Air offers daily nonstop flights to Santa Rosa from Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Reach more than 580,000 travelers throughout the West Coast that have an average household income of more than $103,000. These are prime customers who have the means and inclination to plan a wine country getaway, and to order wine.
This advertising co-op program provides you an affordable way to reach this audience. Your one-sixth page, four-color vertical ad (4.5" X 2.25") is part of a full page that promotes the wine country. The ad is $650 (net) - $765 including ad agency commission, and free reader response listing is included with your ad placement.
If you're interested in this opportunity respond by March 22 to Yael Kallin, (206) 441-5871, ext. 27, or ykallin@paradigmcg.com.

Travel Expectations of U.S. Adults Down Slightly
According to a recent survey (a nationally representative sample of 2,251 U.S. households), 56 percent of U.S. adults expect to take at least one trip primarily for leisure purposes during the next six months, down seven percentage points from last year.
This increase translates into an estimated 127 million U.S. adults who will take at least one leisure trip between February and July 2010, half of whom expect no change in the amount of money they are likely to spend for leisure travel services this year versus last.
Although stated leisure travel intentions are down, demand for leisure travel services remains elastic, thus travel service suppliers who develop and implement attractive promotional strategies will undoubtedly be rewarded for their creativity as consumers continue to demand excellent value for their travel dollars this summer.
