Panini and Pinot Pairing (1:00 p.m. on Thurs, Fri & Sat; reservations only; $45.00 per person)
The new Panini and Pinot Pairing celebrates the chill in the air and the approach of winter. For the season, we move our pairings indoors where you will be seated in a cozy spot by the fireplace. In a nod to the season, Chef Sandra Simile has prepared a menu of comfort food to be served family style and enjoyed with friends. The locovore meal will feature warm-roasted vegetables and a Panini made from artisan bread sourced from Beths Nightingale Bakery in Forestville, local meats and cheeses. These will be paired with the 2007 and 2008 Russian River Valley Pinot Noirs, which are perfect examples of vintage variation in this appellation.
Wine Appreciation Lecture Series (3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. one Saturday a month; reservations required; $10 per person for cost of the wine)
The best way to learn about wine is to drink it! Join us on Saturday's and take a deep dive into Russian River Wines with Lynmar experts such as consulting winemaker Paul Hobbs, winemaker Bibiana Gonzalez Rave and Chef Sandra Similie. In this series they will review topics such as the differences between the 2007 and 2008 vintages for Russian River Pinot Noir, ways to hone sensory perception and evaluation of wine and pairing wine and food.
