Founded in 1989, the Pacific Coast Air Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the acquisition, restoration, safe operation and display of historic aircraft, preserving aviation histor, and providing an educational venue for students and the community.

The Pacific Coast Air Museum has acquired the very first fighter aircraft to arrive over New York City on September 11, 2001, an Air Force F-15A “Eagle” aircraft. This aircraft and its pilot escorted over 80 aircraft out of New York air space, developed the air defense plan for New York on the fly that day, and provided comfort for the responders at the World Trade Center and for the citizens of New York.  The Pacific Coast Air Museum has built an educational exhibit surrounding the 9/11 “First Responder” F-15A “Eagle” aircraft.  It is the only exhibit of it's kind in the nation!

There are many fun (& educational) activities for children and adults at the Pacific Coast Air Museum:

The museum is open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (excluding major holidays) from 10:00am to 4:00pm and is located on the Sonoma County Airport at 2230 Becker Blvd, Santa Rosa, CA 95403

Tthe Pacific Coast Air Museum puts on the finest Air Show in northern Califiornia on the third weekend in August each year, the famous Wings Over Wine Country Air Show!
