Sonoma State University along with the North Bay iHub is proud to host the first North Bay Make-A-Thon that not only caters to programmers from the North Bay and the Computer Science department but also to the innovators at Sonoma State and beyond. The categories for Sonoma State CELL Make-A-Thon are: Sustainability, Hand Made, Tech, Art, Education, and Awesome. The general public is invited to participate and observe. The ticket price includes full access to the two day event. One meal is included in the price of the ticket and other meals will be available for purchase. Participants will have access to prototyping software from Autodesk and 3D printers along with mentorship support from technical experts to help co-design and develop ideas to ultimately demo on Sunday, November 15, 2016. Participants are encouraged to bring their own raw materials and tools/equipment that they anticipate needing for their projects. A tools and materials list is available on the website for suggestions of things that will come in handy during the event.
