Come to the historic clubhouse, a former hatchery that was moved to its present location by log rollers and a team of four horses, for this year’s colorful show with the theme "Dia de los Muertos," the Day of the Dead.
Inside the building you will be greeted with tables of flower arrangements presented within the theme of the ofrendas that are an essential part of the celebration of the Day of the Dead. In addition to the floral displays, there is a huge plant sale which includes a wide selection of succulents, cacti, native plants, drought tolerant plants and perennials all grown locally and ready for fall planting. The garden area also will be selling a collection of unique garden art including mosaic bird houses and stepping stones. The show also includes a sale of lovely quilts, embroidered tea towels and other handcrafted novelties, a raffle and collectibles. Enjoy live music all day and lunch with homemade desserts both days from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at a cost of $10. Drinks and desserts are available all day. Proceeds are used to provide scholarships for local SRJC graduates continuing on to four-year colleges and to maintain this historic building.
