Are you a show off? Have a hidden talent – now is your chance to shine. Sonoma is full of underground talent and Rossi's want to give it a chance to grow. Open Mic hosts Reba and Matt will be setting the stage every Thursday at 8 p.m. The focus is on music but they're open to any kind of act. Reba grew up around the southern tip of Lake Michigan and has been writing songs since she was fifteen. For almost a decade, she worked seasonally in the wilderness as a trailworker and firefighter, travelling with a backpack for the rest of the year. This juxtaposition nurtured a deep appreciation for silence and the sincere silliness of life, which is reflected upon in her songwriting. Matt Rudh ventured into this world from way down south in Louisiana, being influenced by the rich musical heritage of colliding cultures. There, he began songwriting and playing in bands, absorbing the unique variety of styles that the local music community naturally engendered. In 2013, he moved to California to work in the wine industry alongside an acute motivation to play music.
