As part of Petaluma’s History Week celebration, the Petalumans of Yesteryear present the second annual History Trails walk through historic downtown! This is your chance to meet some of Petaluma’s most colorful, influential, and fascinating characters, including Clara McNear, Issac Wickersham, Addie Atwater, William Howard Pepper, Lyman Byce (inventor of the heated incubator), and many more. Along the way, historic points of interest will be pointed out, and each character will delight with their humorous, sad, and sometimes, downright bawdy stories!

The walk begins at the foot of Western Avenue and is moderate in length (1 – 1.5 hours), the pace leisurely. Don’t forget walking shoes, hats, water and sunscreen to be comfortable. Light refreshments will be served outdoors at the conclusion of walk in the Museum Garden Court.

The walk is limited to 20 people! Purchase tickets online at Brown Paper Tickets, Petaluma Museum, or call 707-778-4398.
