The “Small Artwork Show and Silent Auction” is the first annual auction hosted by the O+ Petaluma Festival, at the venue Griffin Map Design at 122 American Alley in downtown Petaluma. Artwork includes small paintings, wearable sculpture and photography by Bay Area artists. O+ Petaluma Festival presents a laid back evening of fundraising on September 16, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
For every small artwork purchased in the silent auction, a minimum 50% of proceeds will benefit this year’s O+ Petaluma Festival that will directly elevate the quality of well being for this year’s community participants (musicians, artists, and health and wellness practitioners). Proceeds reaching the goal of $1,000 will have huge impact. From financing wellness practitioners to conduct checkups for our community participants to covering artist materials for public commissions or the travel costs of one young musician - all funding makes a mark.
Participating Bay Area artists include: Isis Hockenos, Dani Robison, Julia Edith Rigby, Andrea Kendall, Justin Ringlein, Gail Steinberg, Jonny Hirschmugl, Rachel Endoso, James Curtis, and Maxfield Bala. The event can be followed on the “O+ Petaluma” Facebook event.
Each year O+ Petaluma produces the most unique arts and wellness festival in Sonoma County. Most well known for its wine and food, O+ Petaluma emphasizes the place of artists, musicians, and health & wellness businesses and practices that are the foundations of a healthy and vibrant city.
