Wineries

Kendall Jackson Winery
Tour through an organic culinary and demonstration garden. The 2-plus acre working organic garden actually consists of several smaller gardens, each of which is intended to give visitors hands-on experience in food and wine pairing and wine appreciation. The wine sensory gardens help identify the aromas and flavors used to describe wines, and to suggest herbs and produce that pair well with each varietal. The culinary gardens include sections dedicated to international cuisines, seasonal vegetable and fruits and over 170 varieties of heirloom tomatoes! Located off of Highway 101 in Santa Rosa.

Matanzas Creek Winery
Located in the heart of Santa Rosa's Bennett Valley, Matanzas Creek Winery was founded over two decades ago during a time when only a handful of California wineries focused on crafting superior, premium wine. The Estate property is now home to six gardens that represent unique design themes intended to complement the natural beauty and elements that surround the area allocated to the garden. Strategically designed and planted our gardens do gracefully appear as seemingly random drifts of native grasses, wildflowers and trees. Matanzas Creek Winery's lavender holdings consist of a one-acre plot with over 4500 lavender plants (shrubs) that annually produce approximately two million stems of lavender per year. Tasting Room open daily from 10:00am to 4:30 pm. Tours offered Monday - Friday by appointment at 10:30am and 2:30pm. Tour offered Saturday by appointment at 10:30am.
