The oldest operating winery in Glen Ellen, Madrone Estate embraced its original name from the 1880s and recently re-opened a beautiful new tasting room. With a sunny patio and bocce court amidst 100 year-old vines, thoughtful stewardship intersects with small-lot winemaking in one of Sonoma's most incomparable settings. Join us for a tasting of our estate-grown wines and experience the pioneering spirit of one of Sonoma's oldest wineries.

Pairings/Experiences Description: We believe that wine, food and friends belong at the table together. We are happy to provide a local, artisan cheeses and charcuterie to complement your wine tasting experience. Join us on our back patio as you enjoy vineyard views and the warm Sonoma Sunshine.

Gourmet box lunches are available for purchase as well to enjoy at a table indoors or outside in our peaceful picnic area.

Acoustic Sundays during the summer months pairs Madrone wines with wood-fired pizzas or seasonal culinary offerings. Sundays, 1-4 pm.
Tours/Hikes Description and Times: Winery Tour
Discover the historic barrel cellar and learn the fundamentals of small-lot winemaking on a walking winery tour. Enjoy a private, seated tasting of five small-lot estate wines inside the hospitality center.
11 am to 3 pm daily on the hour, $25 per person, approximately 1 hour. By reservation or walk-in as available.
