You can choose pools that are family friendly, romantic, or designed for a workout. Most offer poolside dining service and drinks, spa services, and other amenities. 

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa

This luxury resort offers two swimming areas, both filled with the resort’s unique mineral spring water.

The main pool is open seasonally during the warmer months, is family friendly, and offers lap swimming and poolside dining. The spa pool is part of the Inn’s beautiful Willow Spring Spa and offers a romantic setting and is a great place to relax after a spa service.

Kenwood Inn and Spa

This beautiful Tuscan-style resort in Kenwood features two saline water pools — a main swimming area near the spa and another more private pool. Both are designed for relaxation and retreat and are perfect for romantic getaways.

Kenwood Inn maintains an atmosphere that ensures tranquility and quiet, so the pools are unsuitable for those eighteen and under. Poolside spa services are available.

Farmhouse Inn and Spa

With a solar-heated infinity pool surrounded by fragrant gardens and flowers, the Farmhouse Inn offers a romantic retreat. (See photo at right.)

Private cabanas are available for spa treatments overlooking the pool area. Children over 10 are welcome at the Inn, but pets are not allowed. The pool is heated seasonally (May to October).

Flamingo Conference Resort and Spa

This family friendly Santa Rosa resort features a main pool perfect for fun time with the kids. Poolside dining and spa services are also available.

Families, couples, or singles can even spend the day lazing out at the pool — without spending the night. On Mondays through Thursdays from mid-May to late October, visitors can rent a hotel room for day use from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. (based on availability, prices subject to change)

This includes: pool admission for up to five people, lounge chairs, towels, and use of the guest room from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m, plus a $25 food and non-alcoholic beverage credit. The rooms must be reserved in advance by credit card by an adult, and an adult must be present for the duration of the stay.
