Sonoma County is home to a boundless variety of team building activities that are unique to “wine country”. Your groups can zipline in the redwoods, go on Safari at our wildlife preserve, blend their own wines and hike, bike, cycle, and balloon throughout our beautiful countryside. These are all exciting activities, but what if you’re attendees are “wine country connoisseurs” and have seen it all? Following are a few new activities in our area that may make your team building event one that even the savvy traveler has not experienced.
- Grape Stomp – Here, your team will jump in barrels of freshly picked grapes and experience an “old fashioned” grape press as they squish the juice from the grapes. Your team can compete for the most juice produced and celebrate their accomplishments.
- A Wine Country Escape Room – Chateau St. Jean is now offering an escape room like no other where your group will have 60 minutes to solve a variety of puzzles and riddles by using clues and hints to unlock the secret of the Chateau. Here you will enjoy a welcome glass of sparkling wine, a glass of wine when you unlock the second room, and a wine flight after you escape!
- Treasure Hunts – Our destination hosts a number of organizations that will facilitate treasure hunts throughout Sonoma County in our downtown areas and even at Armstrong Redwood State Reserve to enjoy the natural splendor of Sonoma County’s Redwood Forest. Here you will solve clues, take photos to share with your group and explore new venues!
- McLaren Test Drive – Simraceway is now offering a McLaren Test Drive Experience. Your group will learn about these powerful cars, take laps on the track or even explore the best roads in Sonoma behind the wheel of these supercars.
