Fire Relief

Tourism partners-

Thank you for your interest in working with Sonoma County Tourism as we continue to tell the world that Sonoma County is open for business and ready to welcome visitors.

We have allocated more than $500,000 from our reserves to this effort, in addition to our usual marketing and sales campaigns.

In the coming months we will implement programs like ad campaigns, social media promotions, PR messaging and concentrated sales efforts. This is in addition to our existing off-season promotion, where partner businesses can submit special offers that we in turn promote to customers likely to come travel here. (See below for more details on how to participate in our "Sonoma Sneakaway" promotion through May.)

If you have participated in our surveys and offered assistance with our fire relief programs, thank you. If you want to be involved and don't know where to start, please email Beth Snow, marketing manager, at [email protected]

If you need help with messaging for your business, we have our communications toolkit here.

Finally, be sure to use the rest of our resources in the partners section of the SCT website. There are many programs to get you noticed and drive customers to your front door.

Sonoma Sneakaway - Get off-season visits to your business:

Now is the time for your business to take advantage of our programs and get exposure you may not otherwise receive on your own.

These Sonoma County businesses have active specials on our deals page:

If you are not one of the companies listed here, it means you have not yet submitted information and will not get the same level of online exposure from our thousands of daily website visitors.

If you would like to participate in this free program, do one of two things:

1) Log in to your section of the SCT website and submit your deal. Our team of marketing experts will make sure it is ready for prime time (grammar, clarity) and then push it out to the world. You can start here:

If you have forgotten how to do that, we have a refresher video here:

(All of our training videos are here -

2) Email Beth Snow, marketing manager, at [email protected].

You should be ready with:

Your business name:
Name of the offer:
Details and any terms and conditions:
Link to book the offer:
Dates that the offer is valid:
An image we can use – for example, of your business or product:

That will help us get your deal ready for promotion on our website, other travel channels and social media.

Here's a current deal from the Inn at Occidental: to give you an idea of what is getting a reaction from online visitors.

Still aren't convinced? Then consider this testimonial:

'Your website is doing great for all of my lodging clients. It is normally in the top three referral directories into their website. These special deals help a lot! Thanks for sending us reminders so that we keep the specials going.' - Christine Gustafson, InnLight Marketing
