Do I need to be a member or does it cost anything to be included in SCT marketing and sales efforts?

No, we are not member-based and our services are free for all tourism-related businesses in Sonoma County and all lodging properties located within the business improviement area (BIA).  To find out more about the BIA and how we are funded, visit Sonoma County Tourism – Official DMO for Sonoma County

How can I have my business included on the website?

To be included on Sonoma County website, your business must be in Sonoma County, and be tourism-related. Tell us more about you by submitting your information here

How can SCT help promote my business?

At Sonoma County Tourism, we market and sell Sonoma County. Our objective of bringing more overnight visitors to Sonoma County depends on our hospitality partners - you. The more we know about you, the better we're able to promote you through our sales and marketing channels. Free marketing opportunities include responding to leads from the sales team, hosting journalists to experience your business, posting your events to our online event calendar, submitting special offers to be included in the Deals section year-round and in off-season campaigns, and updating your web listing on Please read more of the free marketing opportunities available here

How can I update my business on the website?

You can update your business by logging onto the Partner Extranet.  Find more information here.

How do I access leads in Simpleview?

Please contact Kristin Treiber [email protected] or Susan Montes [email protected] to be given access as a lead catcher.

You will be sent a temporary password that will allow you to access the leads sent out by the SCT sales team. After you click the link that will be displayed in the email you will be asked to enter you username – (email address) and password. After you have entered the temporary password, it will prompt you to create a new password that you will remember. Kristin and Beth Snow ([email protected]) can view passwords and reset if you forget or have had a staff change. Instructions can be found here. How do I add photos to my listing?

Your photos can be uploaded using the Partner Extranet.  For the best display, use landscape layout, 600 x 450 pixels.  Here is a quick video on how to add photos.  

How do I add an offer for the Journalist Handbook?

Offers are submitted through the Partner Extranet.  For instructions on how to add your offer, please read How to add your offer for the Journalist Handbook. (pdf). 

How do I submit an event?

Submit your visitor-friendly events, festivals, and activities here. These will be included in our online calendar. If you need to edit an existing event or if you have any problems submitting your event, please email [email protected] with 'event calendar' in the subject line.

How do I advertise in the Visitor Guide?

Advertising in the Official Visitors Guide and Map is a cost-effective way to promote your business in the combined 500,000 guides and maps that are printed and distributed annually.  For more information contact:
