Nestled between two mountain ranges along Sonoma County’s eastern border, the 17-mile-long Sonoma Valley offers a delightful mix of beautiful vistas, wine tasting, farm-fresh cuisine, California history, art, small town delights, and outdoor adventures. Known as the birthplace of California’s wine industry, the Sonoma Valley includes five distinct American Viticultural Areas (AVAs or wine regions).
Hosted by the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance, the new Signature Sonoma Valley immersion weekend is designed to showcase Sonoma Valley wines, vineyards, and legendary vintners and growers.
The weekend starts in rustic elegance at the spectacularly restored hacienda at Scribe Winery, one of the Sonoma Valley’s most historic settings.
Guests will enjoy an incomparable range of wines, hand-selected by a panel of sommeliers to be accompanied by an exquisite dinner prepared by a preeminent chef.
Saturday morning, go behind the vines at two of Sonoma Valley’s most iconic vineyards, Durell Vineyard and Kamen Estate Vineyard, enjoying a proprietor-guided exploration and an intimate winemaker-hosted tasting of wines produced from that vineyard. Then, at Beltane Ranch, savor a delicious farm-to-table lunch paired with wines from other iconic Sonoma Valley sites.
Saturday evening, settle in at an elegantly adorned table at, one of California’s most captivating wineries. A Sonoma Valley wine luminary with a special bottle of wine to share will host each table.
The stories will flow freely, with wine aplenty and food thoughtfully chosen to complement the evening’s wines.
