Beer Baron's 1 Year Anniversary: Free Party July 12, 2018
What makes enjoying a big, beefy burger and an ice-cold beer even better, when dining out in Sonoma County? How about if there’s a party all around it, complete with games, music and dancing?
That’s what you’ll get when Beer Baron Bar & Kitchen celebrates its one-year anniversary on July 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. The central downtown Santa Rosa location is hosting a free, Prohibition-themed party for guests of all ages.
The space and staff will all be decked out in Roaring 20s décor and attire, alongside the King Street Giants New Orleans style five-piece jazz band. Other attractions include cornhole and giant Jenga games.
Chef Marc Johns will have the entire food menu available, with dishes available for purchase. Standouts include the seven ounce cheeseburger in a juicy mix of house ground angus beef, short rib, tri tip, and brisket slathered in beer mustard ($16), or fried chicken and buttermilk waffles with Fresno chili slaw and maple-bacon butter ($15).
The beer truck will be on-site, too, and guests can also buy craft cocktails and more than 300 different whiskeys.
As one of the restaurants within the Santa Rosa-based Chandi Hospitality Group, Beer Baron offers an eclectic menu of food and drink. Smoked olive oil guacamole and chips ($8) shares the table with hoisin chile wings ($10), and market fish with smoked butter parsnip grits and arugula chimichurri ($18).
Beers span the international favorites, too, featuring boutique listings like Anomaly Milk Stout Golden from Faction Brewing, made with cacao nibs, lactose sugar and Equator coffee.
