The Budget-Friendly Wedding Venue For a Good Cause
Choose the new Youth Ag Center of Rohnert Park as your wedding venue, and you can enjoy a very reasonable rental fee while supporting local future farmers.
Sonoma County’s roots run deep in agricultural heritage, and farm-style destination weddings are increasingly popular with fashionable couples here. Besides brimming with charm, such weddings can mean budget-friendly venues, whether you select a ceremony and reception in a barn setting, or even in a meadow. Or, at the Youth Center of Rohnert Park, you can enjoy the extra convenience of an urban location with an agricultural background.
Set off Commerce Boulevard in a retail shopping area and offering flexible space for events like weddings, the center serves as the community hall for the non-profit Youth Ag & Leadership Foundation of Sonoma County, and serves the area’s agricultural community.
Formerly known as The 4-H Center, the property was designed with all proceeds going toward supporting the 4-H Youth Program of Sonoma County. The 4-H Program has provided "learn-by-doing" education to help young people develop life skills for more than 75 years.
Today, rental funds still go toward helping Sonoma County Youth development. So as you pay your reasonable wedding venue fee, you can know that you’re supporting the non-profit foundation that guides local youth with scholarships, youth clubs, and work grants.
It’s a lovely space, too, set with hardwood floors. The 60-by-60-foot multi-purpose room can accommodate up to 220 seated guests, or the space can be divided into smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings.
There’s a full kitchen, and an outdoor garden event area with picnic tables; rentals include 6-foot and 12-foot rectangular tables plus chairs. You can also rent a stage for live music, sound systems with microphones, and bring in décor from silk draping to gazebo tents.
May we suggest an agricultural theme, with hay bales, antique accents, and milk pails filled with flowers?
