Events and Open Wineries on Easter 2018 in Sonoma County

Although many businesses close from time-to-time on holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, Easter tends to always have some great events happening for the whole family to enjoy together. From egg hunting to wine tasting, here is a roundup of all the Easter Celebrations taking part in Sonoma County in 2018:

Easter Celebration

Francis Ford Coppola Winery

Kids can take part in an arts and crafts carnival, featuring multiple games, craft stations, face painting, and even an animal show! Although there won’t be an egg hunt this year, there will be many fun activity stations for the little ones to enjoy. There will be a special menu available for purchase at the Pool Cafe. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Easter Beagle is Coming!

Charles M. Schulz Museum

Celebrate the Chinese Year of the Dog with a special Snoopy button, photo ops, and by making an Easter egg pop-up craft in the Education Room all day. Look for special Year of the Dog activities on the third Saturday of every month and collect a different Snoopy button each month.

Easter Egg Hunt and Family Day

History Museum of Sonoma County

Take the kids for an Easter Egg Hunt in the Sculpture Garden! Afterwards, museum volunteers will help the children make unique egg decorating projects. Only the kids are charged admission. Pre-purchase tickets and don’t forget to take a basket.

Garden Valley Ranch presents its First Annual Easter Hunt. Entry is free and there will be fun for the whole family with live music, food vendors, face painting, games and of course, an Easter egg hunt! The gardens are currently filled with Carousel Animals for fun spring photos. Look for dancing ostriches, prancing horses, and many more!

Larson Family Winery

Meet the Easter Bunny at Larson Family Winery and get some fun Easter photos. The kids may even get a special treat from the Easter Bunny’s basket! There will be a special egg hunt for the adults this year. Visit the tasting room between March 26 and 30 to find hidden eggs with something special inside. Five eggs will be hidden in the Tasting Room each day (limit one egg per adult).

West Wines Easter Weekend Fun - Vineyard Walk and Quiz

Take a short self-guided walk through the West Wines vineyard with questions about Sonoma nature, vineyards and wine (for adults), and Sonoma animals and plants (for kids). Winetasting for adults - jelly beans and apple juice pairing for the younger ones.

Easter Sunday Brunch at Santé

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa

A family tradition for generations, on Easter Sunday the resort’s award-winning dining room, Santé will serve an extravagant Easter Sunday Buffet complemented by live entertainment. The resort will host two traditional children’s Easter Egg Hunts at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the resort lawns.

Come spot Pacific Grey whales migrating and then enjoy Easter dinner at the Bay View Restaurant. Chef Luca has prepared a special menu with entrées ranging from a Vegetable Frittata or Uova Milanese (eggs over asparagus gratin) to a stunning Roasted Rack of Lamb or a classic, delicious Filet Mignon.
