See what's happening at the Green Music Center this February!

February is the start of rainbow season here in Sonoma County. One hour it may be light rain, and the next, blue skies with a multicolored spectrum of light over the vineyards. The smell of romance, roses, and hops are in the air, with Valentine's Day getaways available at many hotels, wineries releasing the latest vintage of their rosé wines, and the annual Russian River Brewing Company’s Pliny the Younger release.

Saturday, Feb. 3

Weill Hall, Green Music Center in Rohnert Park

Starting off the month of romance, Renée Fleming is bringing classical music to Rohnert Park. She has been a part of some of the world’s greatest opera stages and concert halls, bringing new audiences to classical music. Buy tickets for a loved one online.

 

Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen

Tuesday, Feb. 6

Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa

Bringing together American music and storytelling, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen will take the stage at the LBC for a Texan all-star show. Learn more and get tickets on the Luther Burbank Center’s Facebook page.

 

Wendy DeWitt

Saturday, Feb. 10

Hopmonk Tavern in Sonoma

Bay Area pianist/vocalist Wendy DeWitt, dubbed the Queen of Boogie Woogie, will be taking the indoor stage at Hopmonk Sonoma this February. Singing blues music from the bench of her piano, attendees can grab a beer and dance the night away. More info on Hopmonk Sonoma’s Facebook page.

 

Johnny Mathis

Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa

Legendary crooner Johnny Mathis will be bringing his The Voice of Romance Tour to the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts again, celebrating 60 years of hits. The show is the day after Valentine's Day, so anyone looking for a romantic gift can grab two tickets online.

 

Lee Ann Womack

Friday, Feb. 23

Mystic Theatre in Downtown Petaluma

Lee Ann Womack is an American country music singer and songwriter. In 2000, her hit "I Hope You Dance" crossed over from Country to pop radio and hit number one on the Billboard charts. Tickets available on The Mystic’s  website.  

 

Shooter Jennings

Mystic Theatre in Downtown Petaluma

American singer-songwriter Shooter Jennings is the type of musician who doesn’t just stick to one format — whether it’s country music or Southern rock, even Electronic music, the son of country music legend Waylon Jennings always keeps attendees on their feet. The English Beat

Saturday, Feb. 24

Raven Performing Arts Theater, in Healdsburg

The first night at the Healdsburg theater sold out quickly, so 80s band The English Beat decided to do a second show. Dress up in your favorite radical 80s attire and enjoy some UK dance music. Grab your tickets ASAP before they sell out again on the Raven Theater’s Facebook Page.

Pro Tip: If you are into blues music, tattoos, and craft beer, make sure to check out the Annual Tattoo & Blues Festival for its 27th anniversary. Live blues bands, rockabilly music, world renowned tattoo artists (including many from Sonoma County), exhibits, a car show, and contests all weekend long in Santa Rosa.
