Thursday, Jan. 4

Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa

This once-in-a-lifetime night of comedy relief will feature Joel McHale, Nick Kroll, Nikki Glaser, Kyle Kinane, Chris Porter, and Chris D'Elia performing onstage. Local singer and funny guy Pat Jordan will be hosting.

All proceeds go to the Sonoma Pride Fundraiser at The King Ridge Foundation, directly helping those affected by the October wildfires. Tickets will sell out fast, so grab them on the Luther Burbank Center’s website.

Sally Tomatoes in Rohnert Park

Monday night is Paint Nite at Sally Tomatoes in SOMO Village. On Jan. 17 they are hosting a special fundraising night where guests will be painting the Round Barn that burnt down in the Sonoma wildfires in October 2017.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the RCU Community Fund. Tickets are limited, so grab them online.

Russian River Brewing Company in Santa Rosa

It’s Pliny Time again in the craft beer world. Pliny the Younger, a Triple IPA named one of the best craft beers in the world, is released the first Friday of February and is available for just two weeks, Feb. 2-15, 2018.

This award-winning brew is not bottled, so the only source available is in downtown Santa Rosa. Enjoy connecting with new friends in line — the wait time can be up to five hours. This is a bucket list experience for any craft beer lover. 

An Evening with Michael Pollan

Tuesday, Feb. 8

Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa

Author Michael Pollan is an influential voice in America’s food fight over obesity, nutrition, and diabetes. His Netflix series, Cooked, will make viewers want to get their hands dirty in the kitchen. Sonoma County is a foodie community, so make sure to grab a reservation at one of the top Sonoma County restaurants before the show. Learn more on Facebook.
