July & August Sonoma County Nightlife Picks
This summer, comedy is coming to Sonoma County in a big way with comedy legends and local acts taking local stages. If you are looking for local fun with friends, Bingo has made a comeback as well, with venues like Trail House in Santa Rosa hosting Bingo Nights. And in early July, families can enjoy firework shows in every city in the area and get out for late night barbecues with friends.
Here are some of our top hits in Sonoma County this summer:

Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias

Last time “Fluffy” took the stage of the Green Music Center, he literally made attendees spit out their wine from laughing so much. One of today’s most successful stand-up comedians, he brings a personal touch to his comedy through storytelling, parodies, and even sound effects. Get access to special tastes of Mexican beers before the show at the South of the Border Beer Tasting – Grupo Modelo Mexico. Grab your tickets to the comedy show and beer tasting online.

Buck Thrifty is a band that showcases some of the best Americana sounds in Sonoma County. You never know what you will get from a live show from them – from two guys playing music onstage to their full seven-piece band, from blues to swing, and from original tunes to all-time favorites, the only guarantee is that they are an unforgettable act. They are playing at the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center this July; head over to their website to get tickets.

This year’s annual fair is dedicated to all of the heroes who helped wine country during last October’s fires. Including classic fair food and rides, animal entertainment with livestock and horse races, and live concerts featuring cover bands, rock stars, and country acts (like Queen Nation, a Blues Festival, John Michael Montgomery, Blood Sweat and Tears, Super Diamond, and Sawyer Brown), there is something for everyone at the Sonoma County Fair this year.
