November & December 2017 Sonoma County Nightlife Picks
Sonoma County may be best known for daytime activities like wine tasting and world-class restaurants, but after the sun goes down, Sonoma County nightlife takes over. From Santa Rosa’s exploding craft beer scene To Healdsburg’s late-night eats and Petaluma’s music scene, travelers have choices in what they can do after dark.
With weekly open mics, karaoke, dancing, trivia, stand-up, and live jam sessions, something is going on every night. Below are some ideas for late night fun in Sonoma County this November and December.
Top Hits in Sonoma County:
Thursday, Nov. 9
When the world's first and ONLY Heavy Metal mariachi band comes to Sonoma County, it is definitely a reason to get excited. The convergence of hard rock covers like Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” and Guns N' Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine” with traditional mariachi music — and a great attitude thrown in — will get attendees singing at the top of their lungs. Get tickets online.
Saturday, Nov. 18
The SOFA District just south of Courthouse Square and the Santa Rosa Plaza is an artsy community, known for community cafes, art galleries, and their annual WinterBlast street party. The open studio event features the SOFA Parade (yes, a parade of actual couches), street performers, live music, fire dancers, and more. The event is free and family friendly.
