Wellness Destination Healdsburg
As if you needed another reason to visit Healdsburg, the popular foodie town is now home to two new wellness experiences.
The Taste of Tea is a family owned tea lounge “serving Asian inspired cuisine and artisan beverages”. Taste of Tea also offers a one of a kind “Japanese Green Tea Treatment” in their relaxation lounge.
This soothing treatment is perfect after a long day of wine tasting, rejuvenating tired feet and cleansing your system. You’ll enjoy a foot soak, face mask and hand towel, all infused with green tea, as well as an herbal neck wrap and tea tasting. Afterwards try the “Unwine/Rewine Wine Country Combo” from their food menu (miso soup, rice rolls, cucumber and wakame salad) and the Matcha Bloody Mary Mocktail, both designed to detox and rejuvenate.
The Taste of Tea serves a wide variety of unique and delicious tea infused drinks, ranging from herbal blends to white, green and black teas. With a long history of sourcing the highest quality teas available, owners Nez, Donna and Tai Tokugawa bring an authentic understanding of tea culture to Healdsburg, with a creative twist.
Elements on the Plaza Day Spa was created after owner Heather Marsh saw the need to expand her popular Santa Rosa Elements Spa to a new location.
Her Healdsburg space is an oasis of calm tucked away above the plaza in a historic building laden with beautiful architectural details. Inside the spa you’ll experience all the best of spa culture including softly trickling fountains, high quality teas and snacks and an Asian inspired décor that gently enhances the overall feel of the spa.
Marsh offers the highest quality spa and beauty treatments with a focus on excellence. Her Plaza Signature Massage is 110 minutes of head to toe bliss, beginning with a foot soak and scrub. If you ever wished that the face and scalp part of a traditional massage went on just “a little bit longer” this is the treatment for you. Using massage techniques that melt muscles gently, while still going deep, this deeply relaxing experience incorporates hot rocks, Swedish and deep tissue into a sublime hour and a half of indulgence and stress relief.
Besides massage and body treatments, Elements on the Plaza also offers a full spa menu that includes facials, nail care and waxing. For bridal showers, birthday parties and other special events, Marsh plans to launch a variety of wine, food and spa treatment combos beginning this summer.
