In the town of Bodega, a quirky mix of shops and businesses line this short stretch of the Bodega Highway and the surprise of avant-garde dining in a funky little bar called The Casino. The village also includes several distinctive landmarks: The tall white spire of St. Teresa of Avila Church, the old Potter School House (now a private residence), and Taylor Street, which were all backdrops for the 1963 movie The Birds, directed by suspense film master Alfred Hitchcock.
