Located on the north end of the scenic 10-mile Bohemian Highway, Monte Rio includes an outdoor amphitheater for concerts and other events, a movie theater located in a colorful World War II-surplus Quonset hut, and a 1950s-style neon sign arching over the roadway, saying “Welcome to Monte Rio Vacation Wonderland.” Dine casually in a local café or grill, or more formally in one of the hotel restaurants.
