Jorge Saldana, the proprietor of Sabor Mexicano Farm is a 3rd generation farmer who leads with his family and heart in managing this very special destination, as well as his Cancun restaurant in Berkeley, Tlaloc restaurant in San Francisco. Produce growing in the fields supplies the restaurants and Sabor Mexicano Salsa and Homemade Chips.

Everything he grows is true to his philosophy of good health that contributes to the greater good of the environment. All produce at the farm is grown organically, some from heirloom seeds that have been handed down from his family in Mexico. Nothing goes to waste; alfalfa is grown to feed the goats and chickens. The farm is completely hydrated by natural spring that flows through the property.

Farm Stay Description: Enjoy a serene experience or have an exciting adventure at this 130-acre Vacation Retreat, Event Center and Organic Farm in Sonoma County, nestled in a fertile valley near the Russian River. The historic farmhouse on the property, the Colonel Armstrong Home, was built in 1890. It has been completely renovated and recently opened to the public for the first time, with lodging and full amenities for up to 12 adults and 3 children.
