Office Coordinator / Receptionist

Sonoma County Tourism (SCT) and Sonoma County Vintners (SCV) offices are located at the American AgCredit headquarters. Unofficially known as the “Trio”, the partnership of Tourism, Vintners, and the Sonoma County Winegrowers (located offsite) shares the broad mission of promoting the bounty and beauty of Sonoma County’s wine and tourism offering.

Based in the offices of Sonoma County Tourism, and under the direct supervision of SCT’s Director of Administration, this position supports SCT and SCV as the point person for all building and office equipment maintenance and repair, general reception duties, and general office and administrative support. As the first point of contact for each agency the Office Coordinator/Receptionist is required to embody excellent customer service, sound judgment, and to consistently apply solid skills in office organization and administration. In order to provide excellent service and advice, the incumbent is expected to become a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) within six months of hire, and to maintain that status throughout employment.

The Vice President, Marketing and Communications (VPMC) is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategy for Sonoma County Tourism (SCT).

The VPMC oversees the Marketing & Communications team as part of the overall goals of growing the County’s robust hospitality economy, increasing visitation, enhancing the organization’s research and data mining efforts, expanding opportunities for partner businesses, and raising the profile of the organization among the Sonoma County community.
