Oakmont Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses, the West and the East. The West Course is slightly longer than the executive-length East, but they are both challenging courses. The front nine on the West Course features small greens where smart players should aim for the center for a relatively short birdie putt. The greens expand on the lengthier back nine, where more yardage calls for a longer iron into the greens.
Strategically placed bunkers are balanced by more player-friendly elements such as wide fairways and generous landing areas. It is shorter than most modern championship golf courses at a little over 6,300 yards. It is easily walkable but will still provide you with a fair test. Although the design of the golf course is a major draw, Oakmont also boasts well conditioned greens that provide excellent putting surfaces.

We typically try to stop here when we visit the area. Good service and food. Love to chat with the bartender. Reasonable prices and portions. Closes relatively early and will have more limited hours...
