A local burger joint in Petaluma, CA, featuring grass fed beef, locally raised meats and vegetables, and great local beer and wine.
A long time ago, in a town not too far from here, a place where you might not see a town sign, there were three restaurants with remarkably interesting names. There was the old timer, the survivor even today, Smiley’s Saloon. But across the street was a place called Snarlie’s Deli, and next door to that was Scowley’s Cafe. Growing up in Berkeley, we used to spend our weekends and summers at our grandparents’ house in Bolinas. Snarlie’s and the original Scowley’s Cafe are now long gone, but in an homage to the great town of Bolinas, Scowley’s Burgers was born in Petaluma.
