The Welfare League Thrift Shop is celebrating over 75 years of service to Sonoma County. Located in its 1916 historic building, the Welfare League sells nearly new clothing for the entire family, kitchen items, crafts, books, games, jewelry, shoes, accessories and collectibles. Proceeds from the sale of donated items fund scholarships; new clothing, books and toys for over 2,000 children at Christmas; new baby items that are distributed to local hospitals; hundreds of member-made knit hats that are taken to schools, cancer & dialysis centers; plus several other community service programs. A totally volunteer non-profit organization, the Welfare League's mission is to provide outreach & support through its many services, while forming goodwill and lasting friendships. We welcome inquiries about joining to help us continue the Welfare League's traditions. Monday through Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
