146th Annual Bennett Valley Guild Picnic and BBQ
Held continuously since 1873, the 146th Annual Bennett Valley Picnic will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 3. Enjoy a good old fashioned picnic at the beautiful location of the hall built back in 1873. This event is fun for the whole family and is open to the public.
Lunch includes BBQ’d Mary’s Chicken, Tom’s special recipe homemade beans, salads, sides, and homemade desserts. Ricardo’s Bar & Grill will have beer and wine available for purchase. Enjoy live Americana and folk-rock from The Bohemian Highway.
The 8th Annual Cherry Pit Spitting Competition will be held noon to 2 p.m.
A Silent Auction will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. featuring food, wine, gift certificates, event tickets, classes, jewelry, art, gardening supplies, and other items donated by generous sponsors. This year also features over 90 bottles of limited release, reserve Bennett Valley Appellation wine.
Be sure and stop by special exhibit booths by The Sonoma County Search and Rescue Team, California HOPE, and the HALTER Team – Horse And Livestock Team Emergency Response.
