180 Studios Meet the Makers Mixer
180 Studios presents a Meet the Makers Mixer event happening on the third Thursday of every month, showcasing many exciting projects from the Sonoma County maker community. The events are free and open to the public.
November's Meet the Makers event on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 5-8 p.m. features a panel discussion about the work of Sonoma County local luthiers. Harry Fleishman, Mark Berry, Maegen Wells, and Joe Craver will come together to discuss the joy in the process of guitar making and music, as well as how tradition and knowledge transfer between generations. Enjoy drinks from Old Car Beer and the Mimosa Boys, and music from DJ Marty and friends.
The mission of 180 Studios is to provide a dynamic environment for creative collaboration that supports the teaching, learning, and practicing of industrial and creative arts, as well as engineering and design. 180 Studios provides space and equipment to meet the needs of hobbyists as well as those engaged in income-producing activities. The building provides ample and diverse spaces for workshops on a wide range of topics such as metalworking, fiber arts, and robotics, and is an ideal setting for maker-related community events.
