Chili Bowl Express
At Sonoma's celebrated Chili Bowl Express, you get to choose a handmade chili bowl filled with your choice of vegan or meat chili by renowned local chefs and enjoy live music, a raffle and silent auction, tea, coffee, and dessert along with studio demonstrations and a gallery exhibition. Over 600 handcrafted artisanal chili bowls are being made for the event!
Chili is courtesy of participating chefs and restaurants including The Girl and The Fig, Chef John McReynolds, Sonoma Golf Club, Valley of the Moon Winery at Madrone Estate, Salt & Stone, Sonoma Market, HopMonk Tavern, Chef Lisa Lavagetto & Kyle Kuklewski, Ramekins, Sheana Davis of The Epicurean Connection, Wild Thyme Catering, Isa Jacoby, Oenotri, Sushinoma, and more.
Beverages for purchase are provided by Valley of the Moon Winery at Madrone Estate, one of Sonoma’s oldest wineries (est.1863), who will be pouring Lake Sonoma and Valley of the Moon wines and will also be providing their best version of chili for the event!
There are three seatings: 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. Purchase tickets online or by phone for $30, or at the door $35. Advance tickets are strongly recommended. This event is family friendly, handicapped accessible, and all are invited to attend.
All proceeds benefit the Sonoma Ceramics Studio at the Sonoma Community Center. This year, funds will be focused on new and upcoming kids and family programming including full scholarships to those in need.
