Kinsey Sicks Unplugged: No Ifs, Ands or Butts
An unprecedented night of song and unscripted conversation from America's ‘Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet,’ The Kinsey Sicks.
The Kinsey Sicks are celebrating their 25th anniversary this fall. The concert also marks the retirement of founder Ben Schatz as Rachel. They will perform some of their favorite songs of the last quarter century, punctuated by conversation with Kinsey Sicks co-founder and Ner Shalom Spiritual Leader, Reb Irwin Keller. Keller says, “Expect shocking secrets, history, politics, gossip, hopes, regrets, war stories and uncontrollable laughter: a night where anything could happen. So come join America’s Favorite Dragapella® Beautyshop Quartet as we meet them both onstage and off.”
For a quarter of a century, The Kinsey Sicks have provided a feast of music and comedy in 43 states and abroad. They have been praised by the New York Times for their “voices sweet as birdsong,” and were called by KQED “the Royal Shakespeare Company of drag performance.” They have released 8 albums and have been the subject of two feature films.
