Meet the Makers Dinner: A Sonoma County Collaboration with L’Artusi and Idlewild Wines
For two nights only, June 23 and 24, the teams behind New York’s beloved Italian restaurant, L’Artusi, and Healdsburg-based Idlewild Wines are joining forces for an intimate, al fresco dining experience in the heart of Sonoma County. The dinner will feature five courses prepared by L’Artusi’s executive chef and paired with a unique twist: Italian wine varieties grown in both Piemonte and California.
During the welcome reception, guests will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with winemaker Sam Bilbro as well as L’Artusi’s Executive Chef Joe Vigorito, Pastry Chef Jessica Craig, Beverage Director Anncherie Saludo, and General Manager Jorie Morales.
Following the reception, a convivial multi-course dinner will be served, highlighting L’Artusi’s take on Italian cuisine showcasing the bounty of local California ingredients. Throughout the meal, Sam and Anncherie will take guests on a guided tour of Idlewild's locally produced California expressions of Italian grape varieties, serving them side-by-side with their Italian-grown Piemontese counterparts.
Saturday, June 23: Reception starts at 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 7 p.m.
Sunday, June 24: Reception starts at 5 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6 p.m.
$225 per person, inclusive. Includes a welcome reception and communal five-course meal and beverage pairings.
