Mini Concert at the Museum
Enjoy a Sunday afternoon of live music at the Museum. Curated by Bay Area band, Dirty Cello, the mini-concert's repertoire will present an eclectic mix of fine music from all over the Bay Area and beyond. Joining them will be Duo Allegra, featuring members from the Santa Rosa Symphony.
From China to Italy, and all over the U.S., Dirty Cello brings the world a high energy and unique spin on blues and bluegrass. Led by vivacious cross-over cellist, Rebecca Roudman, Dirty Cello is cello like you've never heard before. From down home blues with a wailing cello to virtuosic stompin' bluegrass, Dirty Cello is a band that gets your heart thumping and your toes tapping!
Violist Alexander Volonts and violinist Tingting Gu comprise Dua Allegra. Alexander Volonts is a professional musician and educator based in the Santa Rosa area. Since 2007, he has been a member of the Santa Rosa Symphony, as well as the Monterey Symphony since 2010. He currently teaches violin and viola in private, as well as group class settings in the Santa Rosa area.

In 2010, Ms. Gu came to the United States and attended the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California on full scholarship. Currently, Ms. Gu is principal second violinist at the Stockton Symphony, and is contracted with Modesto and Monterey Symphonies.
