New Landscapes and Assemblage Art at Sebastopol Gallery
From July 30 through September 29, Sebastopol Gallery’s featured artist is James Reynolds, who paints in pastels, acrylics and oils. James’s exhibit, “New Landscape Paintings,” is dedicated to the memory of photographer Jim Cyb, a much loved member of the gallery who passed away on July 4, 2018.
As James observes about his work and environment, “The North Bay area is a wonderful setting to pursue the life of a landscape painter. With generally friendly weather and so many different kinds of ecosystems and geological forms, there is no shortage of ideas and inspiration.”
Each month a member artist’s work is displayed in the north window of the gallery. For August, assemblage work by Rebeca Trevino will be on view.
Come meet the artists at the reception on August 18, and visit the gallery any time to see fine art and crafts by 15 local artists. Open daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
