pianoSonoma Music Festival Vino & Vibrato Concert Series presents four evenings of chamber music in Schroeder Hall at Sonoma State University's Green Music Center.


Enjoy inspired evenings of wine and chamber music - from colorful piano concerti by Mozart and Cabaniss to French court songs from Emi Ferguson’s Amour Cruel, plus music from Sonoma State’s own Brian Wilson.


Wine tasting, sponsored by Cartograph Wines, begins at 5:30 p.m. on the patio and is followed promptly by a performance at 6 p.m. in the hall. Tickets are $15 per concert or $12 per concert for two or more.

Tuesday, July 24
Dedications features an array of emotionally and technically demanding music, including Beethoven's masterful 'Kreutzer' Sonata, plus works by Bernstein, Bolcom, Holst, and more.

Thursday, July 26
Doubles highlights perfect pairings in the music world, with works including the world premiere of Thomas Cabaniss' double piano concerto, Double Rainbow, and Aaron Copland's charming Duo for Flute and Piano, among others.


pianoSonoma: Vino & Vibrato - Contrasts
Tuesday, July 31
Contrasts features music of the unexpected, including Bartók's jazz inspired piece Contrasts, along with other pieces of an improvisational and variational nature.

Thursday, Aug. 2
Sentiments provides a journey of the heart and senses with works to include Schumann's flirtatious Three Romances and Sonoma State University professor Brian Wilson's Sentiments, and more.
