The Santaland Diaries chronicles one man's journey to New York City to become the Next Great Soap Opera star. Instead of instant fame, however, the only paying job he can find is work as an elf in Macy's Santaland during the holiday rush. It is an irreverent, "sweet-and-sour sugarplum of a tale!"

David Sedaris' semi-autobiographical account "Santaland Diaries" first aired in 1992 on National Public Radio, and was later adapted as a solo play by Joe Mantello. Directed by Argo Thompson and starring David Yen, this one-man tour-de-force has played to sold-out houses in Marin and Sonoma Counties since 2005. This one-man hit comedy sold out at venues all over the North Bay. Join Left Edge Theatre for this special run, as the two "crazy elves" who started the entire venture are reunited to close it out for its TENTH AND FINAL YEAR!

Opening and Closing nights will be followed by a disco party, and the bar will stay open. An additional $15 General or $5 VIP will get you in for an hour of disco dancing and one drink ticket.

PLEASE NOTE: This play contains adult language and situations. It is strongly recommended that children under 13 years of age not attend.
