Sonoma Family Adventure, July 26-28
Enjoy family fun, learning, and camping on the Sonoma Coast with Coastwalk California.
Explore the scenic trails of Salt Point State Park, attend the annual Fort Ross Festival, explore the tide pools of Gerstle Cove Marine Sanctuary, and learn about the coastal, native habitats along the trail to Stump Beach, collecting salt on the Tafoni rock formations. All walks are led by interpreter, biologist, and Santa Rosa Junior College Professor Emeritus, Peter Leveque. Evenings are for hot meals prepared by the Sonoma Family Team, storytelling, camp songs, laughter, and retelling the day’s discoveries. The adventure finishes at Fort Ross State Park’s Annual Festival with activities that celebrate the international cultures at The Fort.
Have great family fun, learn about the Sonoma Coast and support Coastwalk's efforts to complete the California Coastal Trail. Each paying adult may bring one child for FREE!
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
