The theme the post Thanksgiving Weekend Yoga Retreat is gratitude. Weave this gratitude throughout all the sessions, as a reminder to feel gratitude. With yoga, meditation, hiking or running, delicious homemade and nourishing meals, and local organic wine tasting, leave feeling energized, rejuvenated and relaxed. Through the practice of gratitude, one can manifest more happiness, joy and well being, and appreciate every moment as a beautiful gift.


The yoga classes will be mostly Vinyasa Flow, linking movement with the breath, moving the body through both power and restorative poses, available for all levels and abilities. The classes will be theme-based, creative and balanced, and will incorporate pranayama (breathing), strengthening, stretching, detoxing, energizing, and meditation. Experience a safe and nurturing practice, leaving feeling relaxed yet energized. There will be one Yin class during the retreat, as well as guided meditations.


Learn ChiRunning and/or ChiWalking, making running or walking effortless by letting gravity do the work. Blending principles of Tai Chi with running and walking, move core muscles, allow gravity to assist with forward momentum, and let legs relax. This reduces impact and eliminates the cause of injury, helping to run or walk more safely, for longer, feel lighter and more relaxed, go faster, and enjoy running or walking for a lifetime! Learn proper alignment and posture, body sensing, injury prevention, core strengthening, energy efficiency, lean, ankle lift, arm swing, stride length, cadence, gait analysis, joint loosener exercises, breathing techniques, and mindful and meditative running techniques.


All levels are welcome and encouraged. There will be options for hikers and runners.
