Windsor Day Parade and Festival with Cinco de Mayo Celebration
The 2018 Windsor Day Parade and Festival lands on May 5, the same day as the Town of Windsor's 16th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration. This year, the two events will be combined to bring you a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration on the Town Green.
The Windsor Day Parade, now in its 35th year, is a long-standing town tradition organized by the Windsor Kiwanis Club. The parade will begin at Windsor High School at 10 a.m. and end at the south end of the Town Green. The theme for the parade is "It's a Small World."
Immediately following the parade, the Windsor Day Festival, organized by Windsor Odd Fellows, will commence with live music, festival booths, classic car show, food and drinks, children's games, and live entertainment. In honor of Cinco de Mayo, informational booths, regional food, music, and entertainment from the Latin community will be integrated into the event, including performances by Ballet Folklorico, Windsor Bloco, and the band Mambostreet.
Enjoy this free, fun, family event on the beautiful and expansive Town Green in Windsor.
