These terms and conditions are valid for the “My #SonomaPassion” Social Hub campaign only.
The Promoter is Sonoma County Tourism.
Photo submission participants must be at least 18 years old. Employees and directors of Sonoma County Tourism and the immediate family or members of their same households of such employees and directors are not eligible. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Promoters, which are final and binding in all respects.
PHOTO SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Photo submission period ends on September 29, 2016, at midnight PDT.
HOW TO ENTER
There are two ways to submit your photo:
- Upload your photo to www.sonomacounty.com/social-hub.
- Hashtag you photo with #SonomaPassion on Instagram, www.instagram.com.
Photos considered for entry need to be your own scenic Sonoma County photos from a current or past trip or a selfie holding a paper describing your Sonoma Passion, with the wording “My #SonomaPassion is _______________________.”
The photo(s) must also meet reasonable standards of decency. The Promoter has the sole discretion to determine whether or not a photo meets these requirements.
NUMBER OF ENTRIES
You may submit as many photos as you wish during the Photo Submission Period: April 22 – September 29, 2016.
Five randomly selected persons from all direct uploads and Instagram hashtag entries will be drawn on September 30, 2016.
One of five $100 gift cards per winner.
The drawing winners will be notified using the contact details provided on their registration within seven days of the drawing. If after seven days a winner cannot be contacted, the prize will be given to another randomly selected entrant who can be notified on the terms above.
By submitting a photo for entry, the entrant hereby agrees to participate in any publicity related to My #SonomaPassion campaign. Drawing winners agree that their identity may be disclosed in winner announcements and promotional material. Winners also agree to have his or her image photographed and used for publicity purposes without any additional payment being made.
By submitting a photo, the entrant agrees to allow the Promoter permission to use the image for the purposes of promoting Sonoma County, now and into the future, at no cost to the Promoter. The entrant also agrees to allow the Promoter to use their photo for printed collateral, online, in store and across other marketing mediums, at Promoter’s sole discretion and at no cost.
By submitting the photo, the entrant declares that they have the permission of all individual(s) captured in photo(s) to share and publish their image.
In submitting a photo for entry, the entrant declares that they have taken the photo and own and have sole and complete intellectual property rights to the photo. The entrant will indemnify the Promoter against any claim, loss or costs incurred by the Promoter where a third-party claims ownership of the rights to a photo. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of photo ownership.
Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within 15 days of notification. Failure to return documents in a timely fashion, or if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found not to be in compliance with these Official Rules, or otherwise ineligible, disqualification may result with an alternate winner selected.
Further, by accepting a prize, the winner releases and agrees to hold harmless the Promoter, and their partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any drawing related activity, or participation in this drawing. Void where prohibited.
The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the campaign or web site; to be in violation of the Terms of Service of the web site, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.
No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, illegible, or postage-due entries, email or mail; or for any computer, telephone, cable, network, satellite, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability, or garbled or jumbled transmissions, or service provider/Internet/web site/use net accessibility or availability, traffic congestion, or unauthorized human intervention, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information, or the failure to capture any such information.
