A writer, editor, publisher and photographer, Suzie is a lifelong outdoors enthusiast. She’s backpacked Peru’s Inca Trail, scuba-dived and bare-boat sailed through the Caribbean, climbed steep and high into a remote region of the French Alps to study bronze-age rock engravings, and once rode the back of a manta ray—underwater—in Bora Bora’s lagoon. But as far as she’s concerned, nothing beats trekking along a Sonoma County trail perched above the sea.
