101 North Brewing honors Clint Eastwood
In the next few months Sonoma County’s 101 North Brewing Company will be releasing three new beers celebrating legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood.
First up: special 22-ounce bottles of Two Hops for Sister Sara, a Double IPA brewed with Mosaic and Citra Hops, and inspired by Eastwood’s 1970 movie, “Two Mules for Sister Sara.” That will be followed by the release of Dirty Hoppy, a North Beach-style Hazy IPA, and Escape From Alecatraz, a California Common.
Founded in 2012, 101 North Brewing is known for its provocative branding style, with offerings like Heroine IPA, Naughty Aud Imperial Stout, and Stigmata Red Rye. The labels for all three Eastwood beers are the work of San Francisco-based artist Xander Kent. Brief dialogue from the films will be highlighted on different bottle labels.
