Chroma Gallery now Santa Rosa Arts Center
After four years serving as a hub for the arts in its community, Chroma Gallery is evolving into the nonprofit Santa Rosa Arts Center, in downtown Santa Rosa in central Sonoma County.
The new center’s first exhibit — Healing By Art: After The Fires (Feb. 9-March 25, 2018) — features art, sculpture, and photography created in the aftermath of the October 2017 wildfires. This non-juried show focuses on what artists can contribute to the healing process.
Founded in 2014, Chroma Gallery sponsored art shows, live music concerts, benefits, and classes, and served as a community art center for the South A Street Art District (known as SOFA). In its new incarnation as the Santa Rosa Arts Center, the gallery and backyard areas will host art shows, classes, musical performances, and events.
