Cochon Tasting Bar open in Sonoma
Taste wines in a flight or enjoy a glass at the new Cochon Tasting Bar, located slightly southeast of the historic downtown Plaza in the town of Sonoma, in eastern Sonoma County.
“Cochon” is French for hog. The winery crafts small production California Rhone wines that are raised exclusively in the larger, uniquely shaped French oak barrels that are known as hogsheads. This results in rounder, softer textured, and more elegant wines.
Cochon Wine and Odisea Winey Company are a partnership between longtime wine industry friends Adam Webb and Mike Kuenz. The two share a passion for wines from the Northern Iberian Peninsula and Southern France’s Rhone Valley.
