Gallery 300 moves to The Barlow
The studio/show space vibe of Gallery 300 has found a new home in The Barlow, a 12.5-acre culinary and arts center in Sebastopol, in western Sonoma County.
A venue for painters, a milner, and other artisans, the gallery displays contemporary work focusing mostly on mixed media paintings, but also features hats, laser cut lights, jewelry, and other handmade wearables.
Gallery 300 and its artists were part of the founding of the South A Street Arts District (SOFA) in downtown Santa Rosa. The gallery has evolved into a participant in international art fairs in Miami alongside Art Basel.
The opening exhibit in The Barlow space displays works from Jennifer Hirshfield, Terry Sauve, Lisa Thorpe, Amy Smith, Alejandro Salazar, and Ron Macken.
